The device known as the Infinity Union is an apparatus created by an ancient, long deceased race of extraterrestrials whom originally contemplated harnessing and focusing all the power in the universe through it. Existence of this legendary invention fell to myth & legend over the eons but other interested parties were set on finding the relic for their own purposes. The union had already been acquired by an Elder of the Universe known as The Stranger, whom'd chanced upon and kept the original pieces of it under his protection and care within his personal flying vessel. But this did not stop others from finding out about the Infinity Union nor it's present location. The galactic pirate Nebula would tumble upon ancient hieroglyphics detailing the construction and whereabouts of her prize, a ticket to absolute ultimate power, whilst out on a spelunking mission with her trusted aid Gunther. An expedition which did not go overlooked as her granduncle Eros of Titan would quickly follow her trail. Which, ironically enough, led them all back to Earth.
