    Bored in the palaces of Olympus, Hercules wishes for one more adventure on Earth. Zeus doesn't wish his son to leave. But angrily allows him to. Hercules finds himself in modern day New York City and tries finding a place in the world surrounding him. Starting a wrestling career, befriending skinny little guy Pretzie (Arnold Stang) and romancing pretty girl Helen Camden (Deborah Loomis). Much of the humor derives from the culture clash between the ancient hero and 1960s-style life.

    But a conspiracy between Hera, Hades and Nemesis plan of stripping Hercules of his powers and immortality. Hercules has to find a way out of this mess.

    Note: At some point Zeus sends Atlas and Samson to help Hercules. Atlas is a character of Greek legend. But Samson is part of Hebrew legend.
