    Collecting award-winning novelist Denise Mina's (Garnethill, Deception, Field of Blood) take on the hard-drinking master of bad-luck magic from HELLBLAZER # 216- 222. When an ordinary man innocently uses an incantation, he turns to Constantine for help.     Denise Mina is a respected crime writer and no one can take that away from her.  Vertigo made the mistake on letting her write John Constantine as her break into comics.  John Constantine is a complex character that not everyone can write.  You can tell in the way she writes John Constantine that she was not a fan of him before writing him.  This lack of experience writing comics, the lack of relationship with the character as well and the fact that she also followed Mike Carey's run do...
