Synopsis
Introducing the brand new creative team behind the adventures of the cupid of crime. Harley Quinn finds herself in more than a spot of trouble, moments from a very watery death. Meanwhile, she's wanted for the murder of a GCPD officer, and the late cop’s partner, Bishop, is going to bring her in, no matter who gets in the way.
Plot
Part One of 5. A fully costumed Harley Quinn wakes up in a bathtub full of cold water, she can't move and a shadowy figure tells her he has drug her and he is going to make her suffer. He then attempts to drown her and Harley blacks out but not before seeing a tattoo on the man's arm of a bald eagles' head.
Years earlier, Harlene Quinzel starts her first day of her residency at Arkham Asylum. Richie gives her a tour, showing her the Zoo, a place the worst of the worst are kept, including the Joker.
Three Months later, Harlene first started to meet with the Joker and soon fell in love believing she knew the real Joker, so she broke him out of Arkham, framing the Snowman for the break out. Then when the Joker tried to kill her, she found herself being a inmate of Arkham. She soon made her first costume and made a breakout of her own.
Later, Harley Quinn was trying to rob company of some valuable disks but someone had gotten there first and Harley shots them in the arm and leaves with the disks and the man still alive. Soon afterward the man awakes but someone comes along and shots the man in the head. It turns out the man was Undercover Detective James Seaborn and Detective Bishops partner, and with the help of the Technical Surveillance Department, Bishop believes Harley Quinn murdered Seaborn in cold blood.
Bishop puts together a team to take her down once and for all, and the team arrives at Harley's apartment just as she gets out of the shower, unaware there is a swat team outside the door ready to take her down.
