    Critically acclaimed cult horror hit HACK/SLASH comes to Image Comics in a new miniseries that explores Cassie's first case! 16-year-old Cassie Hack has just been forced to kill her mother, the undead murderer known as the Lunch Lady!     100 Words Or Less This is a story of a teenage girl that is a serial killer. Who kills other serial killers. Is that right? Is that wrong? Either way, it's a fantastic idea for a comic book and this mini-series tells us exactly how Cassie Hack came to be. From the very first page where we get to see Cassie's mother dead with two shots to the face, to the very last page where we see Cassie setting out for her second kill, this 4-issue mini-series should be an exciting ride.     Hack/Slash: My First Maniac is a prequel miniseries to Hack/Slash and the first issue being published by Image. It shows Cassie Hack as a teenager and how she came to be the badass with the baseball bat of today. Let me just start by saying that I am a big Hack/Slash fan. I've read all the Devil's Due stuff and loved it. This issue is a great way for people who haven't read stuff to dip their toes in and see if they would want to read the rest of issues.
