Amazon solicitation, May 31, 2018:
The Complete Pocket Comics: Gwandanaland Comics #1210 -- Starring Black Cat, Red Blazer, Phantom Sphinx, Spirit of '76, and even Satan! 400 Pages in original digest size!
400 pages
It was a grand experiment – a pocket-sized comic with 100 pages of comic action for the same price that readers otherwise could only get 68 pages! On top of that, it contained great characters – THE BLACK CAT, SPIRIT OF '76, PHANTOM SPHINX, RED BLAZEN....and many others, including SATAN himself! Alas, the series only lasted 4 issues; perhaps, as legend states, it was too easy for comic to disappear in pockets without being paid for, or possibly it was simply ahead of its time, because a couple decades later the digest-sized comic would be a staple of Harvey Comics as well as others. Gwandanaland Comics is proud to bring the complete series, not only in full-color, but also in its original page size!*
* The original pages are the size of the Golden Age pages; however, to allow for the differences in printing as a perfect-bound book rather than saddle-stapled comic, the extra margins make this reprint slightly larger than the Golden Age digest, for the sake of readability. You cannot saddle-staple a 400-page book, not on a bet!
We'll have the individual issues as well, each about 100 pages. It all depends on whether you prefer the big book or the individual digests. (Reminder: Books under 128 pages don't have print on the spine).

This is a trade paperback collecting Pocket Comics #1-4.
Please note: This blue-bordered cover- the original issue #1210- is a single-issue reprint of Pocket Comics #1, and not a variant of this issue. It was replaced with The Complete Pocket Comics which collects all four issues of the series.
There is a yellow-bordered cover which was released later as Pocket Comics #1- the first of four single-issue reprints of the Harvey title Pocket Comics.
Please note: Gwandanaland Comics #2178 is also titled The Complete Pocket Comics. The difference is that issue #2178 is the same magazine-size as most other Gwandanaland titles, while this issue #1210 is formatted in the digest-size of the original Pocket Comics title.
