The Gung Ho Guns are a group of assassins that were gathered by Millions Knives with the sole purpose of causing mental and physical pain to Vash the Stampede. The team is led by Legato Bluesummers. All the members are humans (with the exception of  Zazie the Beast who was in fact a collective of insects that had the ability to control other organisms) that gave up their humanity in order to obtain power.

    Caine the Longshot

    No Caption Provided
He is mute, and an excellent marksman able to shoot his target from miles away.
Vash is able to defeat Caine by sneaking up on him after he managed to locate him by the angle of impact of his shots and the intervals between them, making his sniping skills useless against him.
After his defeat, Caine chooses to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head, most likely to avoid having to answer to Knives for his failure.

    Powers and Abilities

Caine uses a 15-foot-long sniper rifle, as well as a long coat that allows him to cloak himself. He also carries a smaller firearm with him, which he used to commit suicide.
