Proper Japanese Title: グランドジャンプPREMIUM
Grand Jump Premium launched a few weeks after Grand Jump as a companion magazine. However, where Grand Jump was a consolidation of the Super Jump and Business Jump markets, Grand Jump Premium was the place most of these orphaned series were allowed to continue. Over a dozen serials were transferred from these two magazines in the first two issues of Premium.
Originally begun as a monthly magazine, this title was a rarity among Shueisha manga anthologies as it used a proper sequential numbering (the norm with American comics). However, in early 2014, the series' took a brief hiatus after 26 volumes before returning, now using the more common YYYYMM numbering and soon slowing down to a bimonthly release schedule.
Grand Jump and Grand Jump Premium do share a lot of the same series, with a number of them having transferred from one to the other (both directions).
