    History

    Mobster George “Boss” Dyke died in the gas chamber of the Gotham State prison on a cold rainy evening. On Dyke’s orders, his body was retrieved by members of his own gang and presented to disgraced surgeon Doc Willard. Performing radical surgery, Willard transplanted the hood’s brain into the body of a towering gorilla. Though no longer capable of speech he was able to communicate with his men by pen and paper. Gorilla Boss fights Batman twice and is quickly defeated. The alien Sinestro steals the Gorilla Boss' cerebellum, expands it to a planet-size to use a power source. Superman later destroys the abomination. The boss is later returned to his gorilla body.

    Powers and Abilities

    The Gorilla Boss has enhanced strength and endurance. Though Gorilla Boss can't speak, he can communicate with his henchmen using a pen and paper.

    Gorilla Boss appears in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode "Gorillas in our Midst!" voiced by Diedrich Bader. He working with Gorilla Grodd and Monsieur Mallah as G.A.S.P. (Gorillas and Apes Seizing Power) to replace Gotham City's population with gorillas. Eventually, he was defeated by B'wana Beast and Vixen.
