    Origin

    Very little is known about Gordon's early life. Living in London, he became involved in the black market and other criminal enterprises there.

    Creation

    Gordon was created by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. He made his first appearance in Warrior #18.

    Major Story Arcs

    V for Vendetta

    Gordon finds Evey Hammond stealing food from his bins and takes her in, getting her back on her feet after she was abandoned by V. He takes Evey to the Kit Kat Keller, where they encounter Alistair Harper and witness the start of a fight between members of the regime and somebody who is speaking out; Gordon removes Evey from the club as the fight breaks out. Soon after he and Evey begin a romantic relationship. A few months later he is murdered by Harper and another gangster in reprisal for his withholding of money they feel they are owed for his criminal activities.

    Powers and Abilities

    Gordon has no superhuman powers or abilities.

    V for Vendetta

    A very different version of Gordon- a television show host and closeted homosexual who is not involved in criminal activity- appears in the film adaptation of the comic. He is portrayed by Stephen Fry.
