    Origin 

    Francis, more commonly known as simply Gramp, is the Grandfather of Meriem Cooper. Cavewoman. A brilliant scientist and inventor, he created a time travel machine and a body enhancing device so humans could survive the time travel. Before his machine was perfected he tested it on his lab Gorilla, Klyde. Klyde grew to 15 Feet and had super strength. After he learns that his Granddaughter is being photographed so her mother can pay for drugs, Gramp intervenes. He's beaten by Meriem's Mother's drug thugs and retreats to his lab where he uses the Body Enhancing Device on himself. Finally perfected, enhances his molecular structure giving him superhuman durability and strength which he uses to beat down the thugs and rescue Meriem. He uses the Body Enhancing Device on her and the three of them (Klyde too) time travel to the future. Something goes wrong however and they end up millions of years in the past during the age of the dinosaurs.
