Chockfull of hubris and dark whimsy are three stories to remind you to keep your nose clean. Two mischeivous, prank-playing boys stumble onto a discovery that's a far cry from child's play in "The Shaft" (written by Brian Azzarello with art by Javier Pulido); a would-be mass- murderer hits a critical point in his development in "Dr. Bizarre" (written and drawn by Roger Langridge); and, in the deep South, a cocky young jazz musician, who happens to be a hare, makes a deal with the devil in "Bre'r Hoodoo" (written by Joe R. Lansdale with art by Timothy Truman).
