Descendants from Vikings, a Norwegian community in Bergen, Minnesota worships a giant wolf. Over generations, they have become more feral themselves, with long, sharp fingernails and hardened bones. It is only when they drink the blood of their worshipped wolf, that they change into a giant wolf themselves.
Their intellect change and they can't transform back, even when they're dead they stay in wolf form.
