Ernie tears up Atlanta in the hopes of finding the one dead-one he knows has the nuclear weapon information he needs to escalate his war.
Judy and Sam capture a dead-one and run a current through its brain which sometimes gets them to talk. In this case it works and the dead-one reveal that Ernie is in Atlanta and headed for the medical building where Autopsy lives.
The ARA watches as Ernie attacks the medical center himself and kills what remains of their troops at the location. General Ramsey is taken to the ARA where he is to be executed and sees Janelle being held captive and experimented on. She was his girlfriend but refused his proposal of marriage as she couldn't be married to the army forever.
Ernie and Autopsy clash and find they are a match for each other until Ernie grabs a gun and fires hard into Autopsy's chest. Autopsy rises and realizes he knows Ernie''s weakness.. his childhood.. and their energies clash. As the two start a mental battle Autopsy floods Ernie's mind with a nightmarish vision of his parents that overwhelms him.
Homicide and the crazy babies spy Mary and Billy but he refuses to take a killing sniper shot on Billy as being too impersonal.
