“THE TOUGHEST COP IN GOTHAM!” Steve “Shotgun” Smith enforces a tough line on Gotham pushers, but Batman suspects that he may be taking kickbacks.

Batman meets the "Toughest Cop in Gotham!" Steve "Shotgun" Smith goes to any lengths to crack down on Gotham's drug dealers, but Batman clashes with him and Commissioner Gordon over his unorthodox methods. Dealers and users are both treated the same harsh way under Smith's rules. One day when he is shaking down some dealers, Smith keeps the stash for himself and takes it to a meeting with an underworld mob leader in order to re-sell the drugs. Has the good cop gone bad? No, turns out that to the underworld, he is a believable turncoat, but Batman knows the truth - Smith has gone there to infiltrate the gang at with Batman's help he brings them to justice.

Hawkman stars in "The Invisible theif of Bleakhill Manor!" The most precious artefacts of Bleakhill Manor have been stolen and replaced by fakes - but there are no clues and no one is to be seen. That is, until a few nights later when Hawkman catches someone coming out of a secret passageway. Using ancient weapons against the Winged Wonder is never a good idea as he is the master of such things and he overcomes the crook.
