    It's a "lost" story of Green Lantern from the 1990s, by the legendary creators of that era: Ron Marz and Darryl Banks! While on monitor duty in the JLA Watchtower, an unexpected threat will challenge Kyle Rayner's abilities and imagination...can this young Green Lantern overcome his fear to stop a villain in his tracks?

    Summary

    Kyle Rayner is stuck on monitor duty but to pass the time he works on a painting of Batman knocking out Guy Gardner, when suddenly Effigy attacks. Effigy had escaped the Controllers and was seeking payback on Kyle. He traps the Green Lantern and then turns his attention to Earth.

    Kyle escapes but need to charge his ring so directs Effigy to New York City and Kyle's apartment where he keeps his lantern. The two do battle until Kyle can get his ring recharged and sends Effirgy into deep space trapped and alone.

    I really liked Green Lantern in the 90s. I was just getting into comic books and Kyle was a great fit for me Green Lantern wise. Unfortunately those stories did not age very well (to be fair most don't) and this comic seems more like a parody of itself than a fun reminder of adventures past.I hate the art in this book.
