    David Morancho's work includes the Spanish graphic novel Mal Chance - Lola, originally published periodically by Planeta de Agostini in chapter form alonside other works. A decade after it's initial publication, Mal Chance has been translated into English by Platinum Studios and published as a trade paperback with the new title Red Mantis. The English script is a loose translation of the original, with the intent of adapting the work to live-action film for U.S. audiences. The film is being produced by Miramax.
