Lydea Mallor is the daughter of the deceased L.E.G.I.O.N. administrator Lyrissa Mallor.
Lydea was brainwashed by the Computer Tyrant Mr. Starr and killed her mother.
Vril Dox deprogrammed Lydea, and she went on to join the L.E.G.I.O.N. R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S.
Lydea was very distraught over her role in her mother's death, though she later accepted that she was not to blame. She even eventually made peace with her mother's soul.
Lydea inherited not only her mother's power to project a show-like negative energy field, but also her position as Champion of Talok VIII.
