For the book "The Highwayman" by R.A. Salvatore, Govar adapted the first chapter into a 12 page comic for the novel's launch. He has also illustrated dozens of book covers, has a background in concept art, and his artwork has graced media of all formats. Govar also created the award winning Tolkien website ThereAndBackAgain.net; dedicated to visualizing the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien. It has garnered numerous awards and has been featured in publications such as Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide.
