Cybertooth

Origin

Cybertooth whose real name Yen Hsieh is a member of the Pacific Overlords created by Dr. Demonicus. Cybertooth would come into conflict with members of the West Coast Avengers when they go to Sydney, Australia to investigate an electronics factory for selling some equipment to Dr. Douglas Birely better known as Dr. Demonicus. Cybertooth and Jawbreaker engage Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man as they enter the factory. Cybertooth distracts Wonder Man with his powerful jaw and Jawbreakers knocks out Scarlet Witch from behind. Cybertooth threatens to bite off the head of the Scarlet Witch which causes Wonder Man to surrender. However the West Coast Avengers eventually defeat Dr. Demonicus and the Pacific Overlords. 

The Pacific Overlords would reappear a few years later with Dr. Demonicus when he tries to establish his own nation he called Demonica. Dr. Demonicus wanted his island nation to be a theocracy and dedicated to the worship of a demon called Raksasa. This leads into another conflict with the West Coast Avengers. Morning Star and Klaw would betray Dr. Demonicus in order to prevent him from summoning Raksasa through a magical gateway. Most of the Pacific Overlords including Cybertooth appear to get buried under a landslide with Dr. Demonicus and whether he was killed or not remains to be seen.    

Creation

Cybertooth was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas and Paul Ryan in 1991 and first appeared in Avengers West Coast # 72.   

Powers & Abilities

Cybertooth has razor sharp teeth made out of an unknown metal. He has a cybernetic jaw that possesses a degree of superhuman strength allowing him to render most materials including stone and various metals. Cybertooth can unhinge his jaw allowing him to put a person's entire head into his mouth.
