Career
Craig McCracken studied at the California Institute of Arts. While there he created, among other characters, The Powerpuff Girls - or The Whoopass Girls as they were then called (a name later deemed too risky by television networks). McCracken is a huge fan of the movie The Big Lebowski, as well as The Beatles, and both The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends contain repeated references to these influences (see right).

Personal Life
Craig was raised in Whittier, California. He is married to Lauren Faust has a daughter from her, and is friends with Genndy Tartakovsky.
