    Return Of Carnage (and friends) 0

    The Good: Zeb Wells gives you just enough in this first issue to make you want to come back for more. The returns of some of Spider-Man's villains we haven't seen in quite a while is also a high point. Throw in these villains with new characters Blue Blue and Firebrick and it has me wishing the next issue hit shelves next week. At first I thought Clayton Crain's (X-Force) art was an odd choice but he really does a great job of capturing the characters in this opening issue.   The Bad: It's price...

    It's always difficult to give a decent review of the first issue in a mini-series because of the built-up expectations coupled with trying to envision how the rest of the series is going to go at the same time.  That being said, "Carnage" has had a tumultuous past even before the release of the first issue.  Originally titled "Spider-Man / Iron Man", the reintroduction of the Carnage character led to an entire series title change, possibly to its detriment.  It's obvious from the cover, as well ...

    The Good: This comic's existence is a great thing for me. When I finally got into american comics, I found out my favorite Spider-Man villain Carnage had been presumed dead for quite a while. I had almost given up hope when I heard the announcement of this series. And I'm a hardcore DC fan. Deadpool is pretty much the only Marvel comic I buy. Well that and the Icon Millarworld stuff. I just had to get this. Crain's art is a great fit for this series. He does a great job at making everything look...
