    Guys, there's a reason Chris Samnee just won a Harvey and was nominated for an Eisner for his work on Thor: The Mighty Avenger (which you should read, it's great). His art is absolutely fantastic! The style worked so well for the clean, bright, airy story being told in Thor and it is perfectly paired with a WWII story too. Cap and Bucky are as perfectly square-jawed as you want them to be. Bucky's carefree attitude is perfectly conveyed by Samnee's style, but it doesn't preclude him from also sh...

    Cap and bucky was a book I picked up because of the art. Chris Samnee is one of the best artists working in comics now. Don't get me wrong, I like Brubaker's Captain America, it's just that Chris samnee was the big draw here.  What was good?  Andreyeko and brubaker deliver a fun World War 2 story with romance, action, drama, spies, and everything else thatyou could  want.     I wasn't sold on the idea of splitting the Captain America book into two different ongoings. I was even more apprehensive when hearing that the high numbered series title would be changed to "Captain America and Bucky". My concerns were soon put to rest by a really solid first issue. "Captain America and Bucky" #621 is the second part of Ed Brubaker and Marc Andreyko's look into Bucky's early years and delivers an issue as good if not better than the previous book.  This issue is made great by ...
