Durward Hopkins is a potential who was successfully recruited by Malcolm Kort and used in his empire of evil. A former janitor who attemped to be a former pro wrestler --but was banned after injuring too many of his opponents-- Hopkins was transformed by Kort int the ultrastrong and nigh invulnerable Bruut.
Durward 's IQ is in low eighties. He reacts violently to being called stupid, but consoles himself with knowledge that those who belittle him also fear him.
He killed Timothy Halloran mother.
