    Rang-a-Tang and Hercules featured in circular badges on the cover. The first issue with the cover badges.

    This issue introduced the first continuing version of Blue Ribbon Comics Hercules in comics, and while he lived in modern times and wore a suit he was still the son of Zeus of myth.

    The first appearance of Gypsy Johnson: Adventurer.

    First appearance of Ty-Gor.

    Doc Strong and the Isle of Right begins.

    First appearance of Loop Logan.

    First appearance of The Green Knight.
