    Major Story Arcs

    A New Relationship

Blake and Rae soon started dating and eventually the two moved in and married, with Blake trying to become somewhat of a stepfather to Cassie. She, however, did not want much to do with Blake as he and Peggy started to grow a resentment to Cassie's father and his way of handling her.

    A New Life

After the apparent death of Peggy's ex-husband, Blake and Peggy could not stop Cassie from following in her father's footsteps to become a superhero. This eventually led to Cassie's death at the hands of Doctor Doom, right at the moment that Scott returned from the dead. Some months later, Cassie was revived by a guilt-ridden Doctor Doom. The second chance Peggy and Blake had with her daughter caused them to move to Miami, away from the superhero grace in New York City.
