    Lucifer sought his aid in securing the Naglfar to be used for entering the Mansions of the Silence. Bergelmir attempted to trick Lucifer into destroying himself but was tricked himself and ended up helping the Morningstar, although he came to hate his benefactor. On the journey however he would come to know his beloved, Jill Presto.
