Beast-Man is Skeletor's beastmaster and game keeper for all of his evil exotic attack pets. Beast-Man has the strength of ten Gorillas and the speed and agility of a Wolf, twice as fast swinging through vines than running due to his shorter legs. He attacks usually by pouncing on enemies and tearing and smashing with his hands, in the animated series he is seen more often with his animal training whip or a crude club. He has the power to control beasts and animals.

Beast-Man is giving the mission to kill Adam if he leaves the wood cutter's house, Skeletor has put him in. Beast-Man tries to kill Adam when he leaves but Adam is able to defeat the evil doer with a hand axe and a tree limb. Adam leaves Beast-Man injured and heads deeper into the woods.

When Beast-Man returns to Skeletor to explain how Adam got away, Skeletor almost kills his servant but lets him live, feeling Beast-Man may still be of use.

Later, after Adam finds the Sword of Power and remembers he is He-Man, Beast-man is with Skeletor in Castle Grayskull when He-Man and the Masters of the Universe come to reclaim Grayskull, and although Beast-Man stands by his master's side it unclear what happens to him once He-Man reaches Skeletor and defeats him.
