    A reveal and a Side Kick 0

    With this issue we see the reveal of who the Black Mask is and some one gets a side kick.  Fair warning if you have not read the issue read it before going further in this review or go ahead and just read you your own risk.  But I do have to ask you why haven't you read it yet?           To start off the I have to say that I wasn't excited about Tony coming on as writer when it was announced.  His first issue was good but still I was concerned.  I really wanted an A list writer on this book as a...

    The Better 'Batman' 0

    Tony Daniels continues to impress with the latest issue of Batman. Batman #697 concludes the six-part Life After Death story arc with a flurry of action and revelations. The issue even manages to introduce a new character.The art in the issue is sharp and the action is fast-paced and intense. Each panel seems to capture some type of movement and they all flow together with fluidity.     Let me start off by saying the Black Mask was not the person I personally thought it was, which to me constitutes an amazing writing job by Tony Daniel.  With that being said, his art in this one is pretty good as well.    The story revolves around Devil's Square basically blowing up,  Black Mask realizes that he is going to have to leave and as a result he begins to flee.  Meanwhile actually out in Devil's Square are the Batman Family, making a way for Dick to get through the square to confront...
