    Trapped in the savage, prehistoric realm of Skartaris, Aquaman and Mera join forces with the Warlord against an evil sorcerer and his gigantic minions, the Ch'Rinn!

    Tempest and Rodunn return to the area where Mera and Aquaman have disappeared to find them only to find it empty of all life. While in Skartaris Aquaman is shown the threat posed by the Ch'rin and their master Valgos only for one of the Ch'rin to sink a ship forcing Aquaman and Mera into action to save the crew and attempt to bring it down, while Warlord urges the crews into the jungle to avoid the monster only to be confronted by another.

    Aquaman and Mera manage to bring one down with her hardwater powers as they all begin their march to Valgo's hideout. While back in Atlantis Dolphin grows angry with Garth for not returning as does the ambassador who feels it rude to ignore her.Aquaman and Mera then are forced into battle with two of Valgo's men,overcoming them Aquaman finds his mechanical hands changing shape on it's own accord. Warlod then makes it into the domain to find Aquaman has been taken over his hand and ordered to fight him while a hooded stranger stands over Ceridian's bed.

    I guess many can be said about Dan Jurgens, both bad and good, but something that must be acknowledged is the fact that every single character that he lays his hands on he makes them shine. This has happened with Superman, Booster Gold and this happened to Aquaman, especially Garth too. In this fantasy arc story Arthur and Mera are stranded in Skartaris, a dimension adjacent to Earth´s and Warlord (Travis Morgan) asks them for help to destroy the evil wizard Valgos.
