    THE GOOD: The art in this series matches the tone of the book. There are two artist on this book but Travel Foreman doesn't do too much in this issue. The artist that fills in for him; Steve Pugh, has more definitive lines and does more creative paneling. The story is amazing. I was shocked out of my mind more then once in this issue. Jeff Lemire kept rolling it out and out in this issue and I kept getting worried about these characters. That action in this issue is amazing too. We've seem some ...

    This issue has a REALLY intense cover. The solid red is extremely eye catching and intense. And then the contrast with the black and white foreground creates such a creepy image. Animal Man looks freaky, and the wolves are badass.Steve Pugh is starting to show his own style a bit more in this issue, easing us away from Travel Foreman, who still does the first few pages.     Let's face it, the last two issues were kind of a slump for Animal Man. Another repetitive dream scene, an interlude for his movie, and a change up in artists kinda made the story drag it's heels for a bit.
