    That's right, the word that came to me when thinking of the first story arc of Angela: Queen of Hel was 'poetic.' Not so much the script as the over all story telling. There was something a little more advanced than your normal comic in play during the trials. This created a love/hate relationship for me with this book. I really appreciated the on static story telling style, but it took me a little bit to realize that I had to pay a little more attention to this book than a normal comic book. Th...

    There are two sides to this issue, and perhaps series: there's the interplay between the main characters (Angela and Sera) and the way in which they relate to the wider Marvel universe. The first is nicely executed. It may not be my favourite type of writing, but for what it is it works well.The second point is more problematic.
