    Nyola showers a penitentiary with lightning bolts. Ramulus' giant plant tendrils break through the penitentiary walls. As sirens blare, Mister Who grows to giant-size, then tears open the bars of a prison cell. Superman attacks Mister Who, shattering his glasses, effectively rendering Mister Who blind. Superman shreds Ramulus' plant tendrils. Nyola calls down more lightning strikes, stunning the Man Of Steel. Upon recovering, Superman attacks Mister Mind. Before Superman can reach Mister Mind, the Monster Society Of Evil fades away, along with the prisoner they came to break free. Superman is stunned at the identity of the prisoner.

    The Monster Society Of Evil is surprised that Mister Mind tasked them with breaking out the Dummy. Mister Mind invites the Dummy to make suggestions, regarding future schemes of the Monster Society Of Evil. Mister Mind, however, has no intentions of taking the Dummy's advice. The Dummy is properly introduced to the Monster Society Of Evil. Superman journeys to the Trylon, in New York, to meet with the All-Star Squadron. From the Hawkgirl, Superman learns that the Justice Society Of America are missing in action. From Sandy, the Golden Boy, Superman learns that Doctor Fate was teleported to the dark side of the Moon, by Oom, The MIghty, and has not been seen since.

    From the Tarantula, Superman learns that the Firebrand was abducted by the Harbinger. When the Green Lantern, Johnny Quick, and Liberty Belle tried to follow, they, too, disappeared. The All-Star Squadron decides to split into teams, to locate their missing members. The Hourman is elected to stay behind, to co-ordinate the team's efforts. Robotman reaches out to the Crimson Avenger, but has difficulty maintaining communications. The Shining Knight offers to journey to Philadelphia, to contact the Seven Soldiers of Victory. Robotman reaches out to the Air-Wave, Aquaman, the Batman, Dan, the Dyna-Mite, the Flash, the Manhunter, MIster Terrific, Sargon, the Sorcerer, T.N.T, the Wildcat, and Zatara, the Magician.

    The Monster Society of Evil calls in Oom, the MIghty, to usurp control of the team from Mister Mind. Oom, the MIghty, heavily damages Mister Mind's inter-dimensional vehicle, then hurls it out of their headquarters. Oom, the MIghty, rechristens the Monster Society Of Evil, the Society of Oom. Mister Mind travels through a rift in inter-dimensional space, passing the Green Lantern, Johnny Quick, and Liberty Belle, on their way back to Earth-2. Mister Mind passes through the rift, to Earth-S, where he will soon become a constant thorn in the side of Captain Marvel. Just before the Green Lantern can cross the rift, into Earth-2, Johnny Quick, and Liberty Belle, vanish.

    Johnny Quick, and Liberty Belle, re-appear on the Monitor's satellite. Johnny Quick, and Liberty Belle, encounter the Amazing Man, and the Tarantula, who have also been summoned by the Harbinger. They quickly learn that the other heroes surrounding them on the satellite, have been culled from different eras. They soon find themselves transported to Earth-1, in the year, 1985, where they are immediately drawn into conflict, with powerful elemental forces. Johnny Quick attempts to, but fails, at dissipating a tornado. The Wildcat is struck by lightning, while trying to rescue a civilian. Liberty Belle's sonic powers counter the deadly energy surrounding the Wildcat.

    The Tarantula pulls the Wildcat to safety. The Amazing Man takes on the physical characteristics of tire rubber, to catch the falling Johnny Quick. Doctor Fate mystically dissipates the tornado, revealing the fallen form of the Red Tornado. The Harbinger tasks Deathbolt, the Green Lantern, Johnny Quick, Per Degaton, Power Girl, and the Star Sapphire with an assignment on Earth-2. Johnny Quick shares a brief farewell with Liberty Belle. The assembled heroes continue their fight to save the multiverse.
