    Considered a master of storytelling right on par with Jack Kirby and Will Eisner, he wowwed people on his runs on the Golden Age Flash, Atom and Green Lantern. His work has been immortalized in animation with Super Friends and Space Ghost.

    Toth was inducted into the Eisner Awards' Comic Hall of Fame in 1991.
