The fiery climax! Firestar's reached her full power, and learned about Emma Frost's plot against her!

Emma Frost, the Headmistress of the Massachusetts Academy, protects her young student, Angelica Jones, during an assassination attempt, on Frost's life. Frost reveals that the Black Queen, of the Hellfire Club, has targeted her for death. Bruno Stein, security for Frost, races to Frost's side. Jones' handler, Randall Chase, also rushes in to offer protection. Frost has Chase escort Jones to her dormitory room. Frost telepathically punishes Stein for allowing Frost to suffer a minor injury during the attack. An attack, that Frost staged, for Jones' benefit. Chase senses Frost's manipulation of events.

Jones reflects on all the events that have led her to this moment. Though fearful to turn her deadly mutant power on another living being, Jones vows to take the Black Queen out, to protect Frost. Unbeknownst to Jones, she is being monitored by Frost. Frost, as the White Queen, confers with the Black King, of the Hellfire Club, Sebastian Shaw. Frost is, somewhat, regretful that Jones' first assignment, to assassinate the Black Queen, will surely result in Jones' death. Shaw exchanges forced pleasantries with the Black Queen, never more certain of her ambitions to take his station.

Jones, as Firestar, finishes another training exercise. The White Queen invites Jones to join her at a formal ball. Chase is immediately suspicious of the White Queen's motivations. Chase learns of the White Queen's plans to have Jones assassinate the Black Queen. Before Chase can warn Jones, he is confronted by the White Queen, and beaten into submission. The White Queen informs Jones that Chase was murdered by the Black Queen. The White Queen rescinds Jones' invitation to the ball, in order to protect her, as the Black Queen will surely attend. Jones pleads with the White Queen to allow her to attend, to provide protection for the White Queen.

Surprisingly, Chase is still alive, but being held prisoner. Chase escapes, only to be fatally shot in the process. Jones calls her father, to profess her love. Chase stumbles into Jones' room, and reveals all of the White Queen's years of lies. Chase dies. The White Queen is informed of Chase's escape. The White Queen frantically searches for Jones. Jones, as Firestar, confronts the White Queen. Shaw grows concerned at the White Queen's absence. The White Queen telepathically summons a cadre of Hellfire soldiers to assist her. Firestar quickly dispatches them.

The White Queen flees in the face of Firestar's wrath. The White Queen leads Firestar into the training room, and sets it's traps and offenses against her. Firestar, in her fury, is unstoppable. Firestar corners the White Queen. After threatening to disfigure the White Queen, Firestar earns her freedom. As a final act, Firestar unleashes the full scope of her powers, completely destroying the Hellfire Club's underground mutant training facility. Shaw, and the White Queen, begin the process of rebuilding. Firestar, as Jones, returns to an idyllic life with her father.

Poor Little Firestar: Firestar #4 0

So, basically I found out this existed after reading Marvel Divas. If you haven't read it..tough because i'm spoiling it.Firestar gets cancer.I guess if Microwaves have something to do with your powers you won't be safe for long? Well Angelica has had quite a tough break and even before the cancer thing she had it pretty rough. This comic is the last in the series but throughout the series it took us back to the beginning of her origin. She was pretty much the female version of Peter Parker..peop...
