    Synopsis

Throughout this issue, Bentley-23 makes a video about the characters of Vil and Wu as an assignment from She-Hulk to learn about another culture. The video chronicles the Future Foundation being invited to a pool party by Charles Cotta, owner of Julian Enterprises.

Upon arriving at the pool, Bentley-23 witnesses Vil and Wu swim beneath the water while it appears that utter chaos ensues above. While trying to get talking head footage about the "water kids," Bentley-23 must constantly beware of splashing that seems to escalate the longer the day goes. He sees through his camera that things are getting out of hand. Artie and Leech are terrified. Luna is scared of Dragon Man, who is simply trying to protect her from splashing with his wings. Ahura loses his cool and cannonballs his way to retribution.

Meanwhile, the adults (the teachers and old John Storm) meet with Charles Cotta himself. Things begin awkwardly enough when when Cotta fumbles around for the right way to deliver his message. Point blank: Mr. Cotta is an alien who pretended to be Julius Caesar. The room is silent until John exclaims that he remembers Cotta. The rest of the group is naturally skeptical. Cotta opens a secret door in his library and shows the group his spaceship. He explains that he was helped by the Fantastic Four in the past and that he wants to help rescue them.

Cotta allows his alien essence to escape his body (he is a pink mist) and further expounds that he is so indebted to the Fantastic Four that his whole life has been to amass wealth enough to help save them. He wishes to be a history teacher at the FF while providing the FF the means to find the Fantastic Four.

The teachers head out to the pool and see the mayhem. They quickly leave with the group.

Bentley-23 shows his video in class. It ends with an interview with Vil and Wu. They mention that they have already seen so many wonders of the world. They are destined for greatness. They know who they are. They suggest Bentley-23 and the rest of the class turn their gaze upon themselves, as there seems to be no cohesion to the children anymore.

Later, Cotta's ship has been modified and it is ready to go find the Fantastic Four.

    Light but fun 0

The Future Foundation is invited to a pool party by an alien who once impersonated Julius Caesar. I haven't stayed with this title, but the concept of this issue sounded fun and we get lots of Bentley 23 in full documentarian mode filming the various poolside shenanigans. The kids take center stage for most of the issue but the grown-ups are presented with their own adventure as they are given the chance to help save the missing Fantastic Four. Even though there's not much to it, which you could...
