The shocking reveal of the villain pulling the strings and pitting family against family -- and a rescue mission unlike anything you've ever seen -- FF vs FF!

    Synopsis

In Manhattan, the Baxter Building returns to its rightful place. Atop the building, however, it seems as if Annihilus hitched a ride from the Negative Zone.

In Latveria, Alex Power eats a meal with Dr. Doom. Alex tells Doom that he's done what he came to do (warn Dr. Doom about the FF's plan to destroy him) and ventures to leave. Dr. Doom turns hostile and lords over the boy, telling Alex that he owns him now. To prove it, Dr. Doom shows Alex his parents, prisoners in a bare cell. Doom tells Alex that he can leave when Doom says he can leave.

Elsewhere, Ant Man gives Darla two rings rigged by Dragon Man. Dragon Man explains that bringing the two rings together will envelope Darla in the Thing suit. She does so and the suit is very loudly put on. Dragon Man promises to work on the loudness of the suit. Meanwhile, the team heads to the Himalayas to meet with the Inhumans.

Medusa, queen of the Inhumans, lays down a sword and permits anyone to speak freely against her and her recent actions. Nobody wants to go against her despite her seemingly heartfelt desire to have everyone speak openly. She-Hulk finally speaks up and voices her concern that she isn't sure Medusa should be allowed around the children. Ant-Man objects to She-Hulks objection.

At the Baxter Building, Bentley-23 and Ahura arrive with Lockjaw. The boys are confused as to why nobody is around. Ahura trips over a wire and Bentley-23 realizes that the building has been booby-trapped against them. They find Artie and Leech. They get drenched as they try to approach the two. They chase the two but get jumped by Vil and Wu. Bentley-23 and Ahura lie on the floor in an inky mess and narrowly avoid a huge falling machine. Bentley-23 is no longer amused. The kids all end up getting in a huge dog-pile styled fight that has to be broken up by Dragon Man. They then learn that Alex is back.

Still at the Himalayas, She-Hulk gets in some meditation. She is interrupted, however, by Medusa who is pretty peeved that She-Hulk would dare speak against her. She-Hulk vents a bit and promises that she will watch Medusa like a hawk. She places a finger on Medusa's shoulder and Medusa flicks it away with a slap from her hair. She-Hulk pushes Medusa through a wall. The two get into a fight and fall through the floor. Ant-Man separates the ladies and informs them that Alex is home. The two women immediately become concerned and wonder when they leave for home.

At the Baxter Building, Old Johnny Storm lies still while the robots argue about Doombots. Johnny wakes up in a flame and torches the room. He shouts: "Doooooom!"

In Latveria, Dr. Doom meets with Immortus (Kang), Ravonna, and Annihilus. They plan the beginning of the end, including the placement of a mole.

I'm just about done with this series. Seriously. I just don't care anymore, what with the plot jumping here and there and nothing of real interest occurring. There's no laugh-out-loud moments, no earnest comedy, just things happening that, more or less, force the plot forward. So, immediately after an issue that preached to us about family and how important it is, we're faced with an issue that essentially goes against all of that, with almost everyone fighting with one another. The one conflict ...
