***SPOILER FREE REVIEW***After a well executed, but slow burning first issue, the second issue of FF is a huge step up in both excitement and fun. I thoroughly admit to the only idea why I was interested in this series in the first place was She-Hulk. However, there's so much fun to be had with this title that I'm definitely going to stick around in the long run. The wheels get moving in this issue, and can I say, this issue takes us to a really fun place. It's quite obvious that Matt Fraction is...

    In a rhythm 0

So by now I have read Fantastic Four numbers 1 and 2 and FF 1 so going in to this issue I know all the goings-on in the FF world. I love it. I can't say that enough. Matt Fraction is surprising me with every book. His hold on the characters, his old school story-telling thus far and a good grasp on pacing. I see a rhythm that if kept up, could lead to some amazing stories and adventures for Foundation. I seriously think that if he keeps it going, Fraction may prove to be a worthy replacement to ...

Vil, stop stabbing Wu's hand, please. 0

The GoodThis book is outrageously funny. And pretty damn good. It'e enjoyable, mature, and all the characters are captured flawlessly. Initially, I was really hazy about the art but it fits so incredibly well. You actually start to really appreciate the bright colours and bubbly splashes. The characterization to me is what really stands out here. Every character's history is referenced and while many are probably still wondering what led Fraction to choose this FF, they grow on you. Darla Deerlin...

    4 minutes later 0

The good: As the Fantastic Four leave for a brief 4 minutes, the fate of the planet, which includes everything the team has to deal with on a daily basis, is left to 4 individuals. Unfortunately, the 4 minutes are up and that responsibility gets way more heavier. From the exposition of the media, to the threats they'll have to face or to the simple caring of the kids from the FF, the team has a handful of difficulties. That's a point I greatly enjoyed of the book: the different angles the team h...

    The Floundering Four 1

I love how FF has it's own unique tone compared to the companion series, Fantastic Four. Fantastic Four has a nice focus on the core family, with a slightly more serious tilt, and FF has a looser connected group, still a lot of character development in sight, but a lot more quirks and comedy. I think that's why I enjoy FF more than Fantastic Four, I know Fraction is amazing at balancing quirky art, comedy, and seriousness like on his AMAZING Hawkeye series. I really love the characters.... or at...
