It's Halloween night, and the Femforce are taking a rare evening off to enjoy the festivities. And, as She-cat herself says, what's Halloween without a witch? Well, they've got one this year as Alizarin Crimson takes the opportunity to attack, turning harmless-looking little trick-or-treaters into horrible, malevolent monstrosities. "Trading Places...Or Which Witch Is Which?" is written by Bill Black, pencilled by Scott Nemmers, and inked by John Nadeau, David(Green Hornet)Mowry and Mark Heike. Guest starring Captain Tom Kelly. Then- Janis Lawson is alone. Adrift on the open sea while the world is in the grip of The Black Shroud's attack. When a giant shark ravages her boat, all she has left is a shard of broken wood to keep her afloat. Little short of a miracle could save her now... "Shark Bait!" is written and layed out by Richard(The Count)Rome, with art by John Nadeau. As a bonus, this issue comes with a special pullout mini comic bound into the center- The Purple Claw #0. "The Serpent Strkes" is a reprint from Minoan Publishing's The Purple Claw #2, from 1952, with art by Brown and Gantz. Color cover by Nemmers and Heike, interiors black and white with graytones. Standard comic book format.
