@ch13696: He died in issue 587 but the arc runs from 583-588 and then starts with the new series FF with renumbering.

@cattlebattle: IIRC, Hulk's first appearance was that when it was sunset he'd be Hulk and when it was sunrise, he'd be back to Banner. I dunno. I could be wrong.

@ssejllenrad: You're correct. He also sounded depressing and a little more sophisticated.

I believe the Thing in the AoA universe was modeled after the original Hulk, although he was slightly more musclebound and wordy.
