Family Vacation
Plot.
Reed comes up with an idea to spend more time as a family.
Art.
Mark Bagley does a great job on this issue.
Story & Script.
Matt Fraction writes a very nice, entertaining, and funny first issue. It's a great jumping on point for new readers. The action is pretty good and the characterization seems spot on from what little I've read of the Fantastic Four. The issue is a lot of fun.
I must add I found the scene with Thing at the community center very abrupt. The dialogue in the scene is very poorly done. The scene has no real impact on the issue, and if it was removed from the issue this would most likely would have had a higher score.
The scenes with Sue and Franklin are very nice addition to the issue. This issue gives me a new found appreciation of Reed Richards.
Overall
While I wasn't a big fan of Fraction's Defenders. However with Hawkeye and now this, Matt Fraction is quickly becoming one of my favorite writers.
