An infatuated Chastity investigate the origins of Evil Ernie in hopes of understanding him better. She visits his childhood home and is set upon by dead-onez. They start to overwhelm her in the close quarters until Ernie arrives and rips them apart. He is still distracted and hurting over Lady Death and won't admit to having followed Chastity since he rejected her at his bunker. He is not even that interested that his dead-onez failed to act on his commands.
A smitten Chastity hooks up with Ernie as they go in search of death and destruction.
In Lousiana the remains of the US forces are concerned. The arcane energy release has created a wave of supernatural creatures all over the country and knocked out satellites. The rest of the world is blaming the US for the psycho-plague and the energy burst known as the Pandora Effect. There a moves afoot for the rest of the world to take action against the US if things don't improve anytime soon.
In Pennsylvania Dr Price is drinking himself into oblivion and disgusted by what he considers to be his failure.
Autopsy, the twisted doctor, makes his first appearance.
