In the ruins of the court house the boy from the alleyway is spotted by Ernie's dead parents.. they call out to him and have him captured. He protests that is parents are dead. they take him into a house where their demeanor changes as they tell him he has to be punished. Evil talks with a dead-one who can guide him to is parents.
Evil Ernie meets his alive self and sets him free. He then turns on his reanimated parents and dismembers them once more. Now Ernie is free and leads the march on the Western USA.
