The team manage to snag a sample of Ernie's arcane energy and escape with their lives as the dead-onez break down the outer defenses and head for the main building.
Ernie keeps picking off the team one by one and pulls on into a vat of acid, out of which he climbs slowly rebuilding his body with his arcane healing power.
The last member of the team gets to the roof and escape s in the helicopter that flies to Dr Price's laboratory. He can only look on as a dead-one who hitched a ride pulls a grenade and blows the sample and the helicopter to pieces in a ball of fire.
