In 4000 B.C., the Sumerian city of Ahksa faces complete annihilation due to a severe and prolonged drought. To stem this tide, they have sacrificed one of their own every new season to a powerful demonic force that lives in a deep cavern nearby. A force that was originally summoned to protect them by using the Ex-Mortis. This remedy, however, has failed them over the last few years. Famine, starvation and death has engulfed the city.
