    Étienne Schréder was born in Belgium in 1950. After law and criminology studies he works in two successive penitentiaries before taking an extended break from everything. Nearing forty and remembering his attraction to comic books, he enrolls in night classes for five years and with success profiling itself, he quits his managing job in 1989 to concentrate on his new trade. His first full-length creation comes out in 1991. Additionally, he storyboards for films and video games.
