Overview

Description

Monolithic titans constructed using the technology pertaining to the Old Gods of Urgrund. The prehistoric automata which would come to be known as the Eschathon were massive siege titans crafted by the hand of the Old God of Malevolence; Yuga Khan, in the prime of his reviled empire built upon suffering and decadence. For all his power and mastery of The Source of All Things as well as Anti-Life. Zonuz only withheld one all consuming fear above all else, the inevitable day when his tyrannical reign would be brought to a close by the coming of the New Gods.

Successor progeny begotten from his own bloodline whom did what all new things due when their time came to rise, supplant and bring about the end of an era. Although his preeminent dread came to pass and the father of Darkseid was eventually overthrown by his offspring, he would order the fashioning of colossal effigy's powered by a facsimile of the Omega Effect and crafted out of the legendary Nth Metal. As he ley trapped within the Source Wall, the penultimate boundary layer that cuts off the rest of wider totality from the greater Multiverse. These golems, the facilitations of his penultimate desire to murder any heirs to the throne, were lost to time and forgotten even in myth. But they waited, slumbered, practically anticipating the day of their activation and the execution of primary directives as mandated by their original master.

Some couple eternities later, the Eschathon Golems would rise from their holding chambers and set about the completion of their ultimate imperative. The Death of all New Gods. Once enough of the descendants of their master had been properly culled, the metallic giants will then set out to complete their secondary objective. Free their master from eternal imprisonment. A set of Golems would focus their omega beam energy towards breathing life back into the fallen primordial king while the rest continued carrying out their initial parameters. They were designed with a flaw in their engineering, whenever they power up their Omega Weapon used to seek out and terminate any designated New God they are tasked to hunt. A sort of discharge valve opens up near their collar plating where a central power core resides. Damaging it even slightly causes a chain reaction wherein the Eschathon blows apart from the inside out.

Capabilities

Each of the Escathon Golems possess many of the same facilities built into them by the Lord of the Old Gods. All of which having the destructive power paramount to a supernova or antimatter blast:

These golems possess a selection of potent armament functions begotten from their 9th Metal infusion coupled with a natural affinity for channeling the Source's power to facilitate them. Said ancient mech walkers bear enough raw firepower to decimate whole star clusters in a single stroke.

Drone Designates

A handful of cosmic decimators were created and set upon the unsuspecting cosmos at the time of Yuga Khan's demise. Just four of which were powerful enough to singlehandedly devastate all of New Genesis. Each of said giant's were designed to emanate with a different color scheme to differentiate one from the others.
