    Epic Collections are a modern innovation from Marvel to collect entire runs of major comics, franchises or characters that had previously been uncollected or collected haphazardly/incompletely. These collections are much larger than standard collections (generally ranging from 400-500 pages) and go out of their way to collect everything rather than focus on the highlights. For longer runs, the collections are regularly published somewhat out-of-order.
