Teenager Eric Ardor becomes the victim of a freak accident. Upon recovering he discovers that he has been granted a vast array of superpowers. Quickly, Eric dons a mask and the mantle of Epic. There is only one problem. Epic soon discovers that he has a weakness, his libido. Once aroused, he loses all his powers, and being located in Miami, avoiding pretty, scantily-clad women is nearly impossible.

In issue #0, Eric must survive a podcast interview with Miami's biggest superhero fanboy while battling a self-proclaimed Norse thunder god on the beach.
