Lets just make up ways Bendis is going to ruin Emma. This is not a serious thread, but a joke to let off some steam and anger, I'll start

He is going to have her powers mutate further, having her lose her thumbs. She will lament her lack of dexterity and spend all day toasting hot pockets with Beast. In flash back scenes she will be blond and have an English accent, and have a large chest, even as a kid. She'll be revealed to be Xorn in the end though, as we learn the last canon Emma Frost appearance was her first appearance. Iron Man and Cyclops both end up seeing the same psychologist in the aftermath, though with retrospection Iron Man considers bedding something with a star/blackhole for a brain, a total win.

Hes going to make Emma say Scott is wrong and Wolverine is right then sleep with Wolverine and then become Kitty Pryde's personal assistant

I have to say I really liked Bendis’ Emma (in HoM and the Sentry arc in New Avengers) so I still pin my hope on him. Emma in All-New X-Men is not bad so far.

In my opinion, he can ruin our flawless, unmatched, beloved Emma Frost in following ways:

1) making her a pure arm-candy

2) making her pregnant

3) killing her

4) making her go back to villainy.

I love her moral ambiguity and the fact that she’s a nontraditional heroine is one of the most important reasons why I love her. But that she walks the fine line between hero and villain can be represented perfectly when she’s with X-Men…Joining an enemy team being a villain again means less appearances and less developments of character, it’s clearly not good for her.

She has going through so many traumatic things to be what she wants to be, if she finally went full circle that would be tragic.

It's her decadence that makes her seem more human than most characters. She has all the ingredients of falling apart, but it strong enough to keep herself together. That's her heroism. Not everyone is willing to save themselves.
